I think Final Fantasy XVI, successor to the soon-to-be-released Final Fantasy XV would be directed by Hiroyuki Itou, the director of Final Fantasy XII. It would have a rather futuristic setting, and a cast of seven characters (four male, three female). Like Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithless, all seven characters would participate in battle at once. The License Board from Final Fantasy XII would return, and all-playable characters would be freelancers; therefore, no class restrictions. The battle system would be same as in Final Fantasy XV.
The composers for Final Fantasy XVI would be Hitoshi Sakimoto, Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Kumi Tanioka. The soundtrack would be scored with a symphony orchestra and Uematsu's rock band The Earthbound Papas. The playable characters physical appearances would be designed by Tetsuya Nomura. The outfits would be designed by various designers. Final Fantasy XVI would be presented in 7.1 channel. The OST would be available for download worldwide in every digital outlet.
Final Fantasy XVI would be developed for PlayStation 5 and PC, presented in 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. The graphics engine would be a brand new one, referred to as the Zeromus Engine, which would feature Kingsglaive quality graphics.
