According to IMDb.com, over 3,000 celebrities lost their lives left and right in 2016. SNK Representatives in Super Smash Bros.

I think SNK Corporation, formerly known as SNK Playmore, should be represented on the Super Smash Bros. battlefield with two fighters: Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury (known in Japan as Garou Densetsu) and Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown (known in Japan as Samurai Spirits), who both appeared in The King of Fighters XIV.  For this reason, there used to be a nonprofit organization known as the Nakoruru and Terry Club, founded in 2004. They would share the same stage, Iguazu Falls, which is based on The King of Fighters XIV. Nakoruru would be the first third-party character to have a tether recovery, a technique that Link, Toon Link, Samus, Zero Suit Samus, and Lucas have. Terry and Nakoruru would bring the King of Fighters XIV fighting engine with them to the Super Smash Bros. battlefield. They would fill their Max meter by dealing or taking damage, including shield damage. However, the Super Moves will KO at 200%. Also, other characters from Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown would appear as trophies.

Terry Bogard's newcomer intro video features him playing Super Smash Bros. and suddenly Master Hand drags him into the game and therefore the Super Smash Bros. battlefield. Nakoruru's newcomer intro video features her defeating Verse at the end of the King of Fighters XIV tournament and Master Hand shows up and drags her to the Super Smash Bros. battlefield.

Final Fantasy XVI

I think Final Fantasy XVI, successor to the soon-to-be-released Final Fantasy XV would be directed by Hiroyuki Itou, the director of Final Fantasy XII. It would have a rather futuristic setting, and a cast of seven characters (four male, three female). Like Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithless, all seven characters would participate in battle at once. The License Board from Final Fantasy XII would return, and all-playable characters would be freelancers; therefore, no class restrictions. The battle system would be same as in Final Fantasy XV.

The composers for Final Fantasy XVI would be Hitoshi Sakimoto, Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Kumi Tanioka. The soundtrack would be scored with a symphony orchestra and Uematsu's rock band The Earthbound Papas. The playable characters physical appearances would be designed by Tetsuya Nomura. The outfits would be designed by various designers. Final Fantasy XVI would be presented in 7.1 channel. The OST would be available for download worldwide in every digital outlet.

Final Fantasy XVI would be developed for PlayStation 5 and PC, presented in 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. The graphics engine would be a brand new one, referred to as the Zeromus Engine, which would feature Kingsglaive quality graphics.

Ayra's moveset in Super Smash Bros. (as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Fire Emblem 4)

20 years ago, on May 14, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War was first released in Japan for the Super Famicom. I find that Ayra would make the best representative for the game in Super Smash Bros. Sigurd and Seliph are too similar to Marth, and have a holy weapon that resembles Marth's Falchion, so they could appear as alternate skins of Marth (as Sigurd was in Project M), while Leaf would be an alternate of Roy. Inspiration from Lyndis' Project M moveset could be used. Like Marth, Roy, and Cloud, Ayra would speak Japanese, and would be voiced by Seiko Yoshida. Her sword would be a bit longer than Marth's sword, probably as long as Ghirahim's blade or Saki Amamiya's laser blade. The sweetspots of her sword are both the hilt and the tip. The sourspot is the middle of the sword. The hilt would stun the opponent and allow for combos, but the tilt would not.

Ayra is a combo-based swordfighter. Her jab, tilt, and smash attacks are combos.

Marth and Lucina's swords would be lengthened to reduce Ayra's advantage over them, and they would get a speed buff (especially for Lucina). Link's sword would be at the length as it was portrayed in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Ayra's Up Tilt and Up Smash would be overridden by Meteor Smashes. Ayra's range will be part of her hurtbox, so that those with less range would counter or punish her attacks. For example, Jigglypuff would use Rest to counter Ayra's Side Tilt or Side Smash attacks.

Ayra's Moveset

Jab attack: Ayra has a long jab string consisting of a slap (stronger than Peach's jab, done in an arc), punch, kick, two horizontal sword swings, a downward arc sword swing, an upward arc sword swing, a series of five swift sword swings (similar to Samurai Goroh would do as an Assist Trophy), and then a run-through (dashing stab). It does a total of 50% damage if all attacks land. However, the higher the damage the opponent already has before the combo, the harder it is to land the full jab string.

Side Tilt: Ayra's Side Tilt is about as strong as most other characters' Smash attacks. It's similar a critical attack done using the Practice Katana in Fire Emblem Fates. It involves a far-reaching kick, followed by a downward arc and upward arc, and horizontal slash similar to Ike's Side Tilt.

Up Tilt: Ayra's Up Tilt is a combination of Shulk's Up Tilt and Marth's Up Tilt, and if it connects, it's followed by jump slash and a slamming slash.

Side Smash: Ayra's strongest smash attack. It hits twice, in a way similar to the normal attack animation of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, and the first hit buries the opponent.

  • Brass Katana: 7% damage each hit. KOs at 100%.
  • Iron Katana: 8% damage each hit. KOs at 90%.
  • Steel Katana: 9% damage each hit. KOs at 80%.
  • Silver Katana: 10% damage each hit. KOs at 70%.
  • Ayra's Katana: 12% damage each hit mid-blade, 14% at the tip, 16% at the hilt. KOs at 60% damage mid-blade, 40% at the tip, 20% at the hilt.

Up Smash: Ayra's second strongest smash attack. It hits twice, similar to the upward critical attack animation in the Tellius games.

  • Brass Katana: 5% damage each hit. KOs at 150%.
  • Iron Katana: 6% damage each hit. KOs at 130%.
  • Steel Katana: 7% damage each hit. KOs at 120%.
  • Silver Katana: 8% damage each hit. KOs at 100%.
  • Ayra's Katana: 10% damage each hit. KOs at 75%.

Neutral Air: Ayra's neutral-aerial would be a circular slash, like Samus's Up Special.

Up Air: Ayra's up-aerial would be a two-hit move, first attack similar to Ike and second attack similar to Link.

Down Air: Ayra's down-aerial would be similar to Ike's, but stall and fall like Toon Link's

Neutral Special: Magic Sword / Kodachi: When using Ayra's Katana, Ayra charges this powerful move up to as long as Cloud's Down Special move. If Ayra's Katana is used, it results in a magic sword projectile, like Flame Edge, Thunder Edge, Wind Edge, and Blizzard Edge. If using Brass Katana, Iron Katana, Steel Katana, or Silver Katana, she charges this move as long as Marth's Shield Breaker, and it results in a Kodachi, that is, the katana being thrown like a boomerang.

Side Special: Draw Thrust: This is similar to a critical attack animation in Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776, as well as a dashing attack animation of the Myrmidon/Samurai and Swordmaster classes in the 3DS Fire Emblem games. Like Ike's Side Special, it's also chargeable, but longer than that. Excellent for horizontal recovery.

Down B: Ninja Counter: Ayra's counter move hits five times, and the damage varies, but deals half the damage of the original attack, or full if she has at least 100% damage. It is similar to a critical attack animation in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776, where a Myrmidon or Swordmaster would warp horizontally around the enemy before dealing the critical hit, and has great knockback.

Up B: Angular Draw: This is similar to a critical Swordmaster attack animation in Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776, where a Swordmaster would fly straight across and when contacting the enemy, fly straight up in a flash and then fall back down. This is true when the move is executed on the ground, but in the air, Ayra flies straight up then across.

Final Smash: Astra: In Genealogy of the Holy War, the maximum number of hits a Swordmaster can deal is 40, if the Brave Sword is equipped. This Final Smash is invariably lethal, and would be similar to Bayonetta's Witch Time. With this Final Smash, Ayra puts the victim in Witch Time until she deals 40 hits. The moves used may vary and the amount of damage varies.

Core Media Group files for bankruptcy

The company Core Media Group, the parent of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection. I think what led to that is what happened four years ago, when Phillip Phillips robbed Jessica Sanchez of the title American Idol.  Core Media Group was part of a joint venture that also combined Endemol and Shine to create Endemol Shine Group. However, Core Media Group continued to operate as an independent group and never integrated. It is also the parent company of 19 Entertainment and Sharp Entertainment. The bankruptcy petition is said to indicate a total ranging from $100 million to $500 million.
